I am forever enamored with Maastricht, Holland.  It is the details of this city that call me back again & again.

I just adore the LIGHT, depth and SOUL that classic, old-school style film renders.  Digital is great, but there is just no substitute for the authenticity of the REAL thing.  (Fuji Pro 400H)

My favorite time of year is coming!….The holidays!  One of my favorite things to do in preparation of the season is to come up with new and unique ways to have our family portrait taken for the ever-entertaining CHRISTMAS CARD.  This one here of my husband and myself (Dec 2011) was taken by the very talented Chrissi Richards in Little Rock, AR (processing, styling & card design by me).  I don’t know how we will top this crazy theme this year, but we will try!

In celebration of Columbus Day, we went and discovered a new country ourselves.  It was a nice day trip (a little over an hour from home). The boys’ favorite thing was the very nice park just outside the old part of the city (centre ville).
